After the GIS workshop at the Society for Historical Archaeology conference in St. Charles, many participants requested a video on georeferencing historic maps. Similarly, based upon feedback from the group, I have switched to YouTube, largely because I was able to solve the resolution issue. The resolution in the first set of videos is a bit low. However, there doesn’t appear to be a way to fix that in the tool that I used, so I switched to Open Broadcaster Software, a relatively simple, free and open source video recording tool. The resolution is now significantly higher, which means that videos are much easier to view.
